Never even heard of him until I watched the movie. Great story. I let my son watch it and he was shocked to find out it was a true story. A lost art. Make it go fast with what you have. Now you have multi-million dollar teams that can't do what he did. Racing and men like that don't exist any more.

What are you talking about ? V type engines are stipid common in road cars especially v6 engines and v8s you however will rarely see a v4 as they are typically inline 4

I come from drifting cars and after a few months of getting my ZX9R, I have noticed this while street riding with friends that have newer, faster bikes than mine. When I started letting the rear slide out GENTLY to help me point the bike at the apex sooner, my buddies couldn't keep up, I left them in the dust at every turn lol! Even when I wasn't trying to go fast.

So you can brake whilst mid corner and already in hang off? I recently did this on a wet surface and I did not grab the brakes suddenly I rolled onto the brakes and all of a sudden I lost the front. Granted the surface was a bit dirty and slippery and it was a hairpin going downhill but was this rider error or was this almost inevitable? (road tyres on a mountainpass road) nothing happened and I am all good just some minor repairs on the bike.

The idea that 20k for a go kart is affordable is the absolute most ridiculous bs I've ever heard in my life especially when they cost about 7k to make the engines they run only cost 4500 brand new and the chassis and cages are very cheap made not to mention they don't come with a seat or wheel or gauges or harness so by the time you buy everything you actually need your in for 25k in what world is paying the price of a full sized car for a go kart affordable 😂

When you are braking are you using 70/30 front brake and rear? Please help

The first thing I noticed hopping on a motorcycle is wow these things engine brake sooo much harder than a car. It does feel like I'm wasting gas a lot because of it when I'm trying to coast and don't want to upshift 3 times or hold the clutch in (it just feels wrong) to do it. But it is definitely nice for cornering on the street. Most of the time I don't need to touch the brakes.

This must be why it's so dangerous to throttle up and countersteer at the same time. WOOSH there goes traction on the back tire. It's really a good thing it's instinctual to slow down or at most stay constant speed when entering a corner for those of us on the street. I can see how useful this can be in racing though. That's pretty cool how you can upshift, countersteer over, and be in a good rpm range to straighten the bike and take off.
